Walking Scotland Series

Walking Scotland is a series of books published by Clan Books and written by Mary Welsh and Christine Isherwood.

These remarkable ladies compiled a comprehensive set of walking guides covering the whole of Scotland.

For a modest price, readers can select from routes ranging from the simple stroll to the exhilarating high-level ridge walk. All walks are delightfully annotated with comments about the flora and fauna, with beautiful accompanying illustrations.

The books also give informative explanations of the history of the places described in the walks and are an excellent guide to the most interesting places to visit in the area.

This map shows the areas covered by each of the 21 volumes.
